  1. My question is, we have a Switch. I am the primary account holder. My kids and I have profiles on the family plan so they can each go online. If I get my son a switch lite, can I sign in with the same info and also have his profile on their but also let him download digital games that I paid for and his cloud saves?

  2. So if my brother has a switch and his own account and I have my own and we create accounts on each other switches would tht work as long as we have wifi when we want to use each other accounts

  3. The data provided here wasn’t completely accurate. One of those ways does work, which is the last. But the other two do not work the way it was explained. Using words like “should” don’t help the situation. If you would’ve tried to provide a video tutorial showing each step on both switches, you would’ve found that the first 2 options do not work that way.

Only the account that moves to the second switch can play the games on both. NO ONE else can create or use any profile on the second switch to play the games brought over.

Furthermore, you can only deregister your account ONCE per year. So this does not work the way explained either.

  4. Let's say Me (A) and my Friend (B) wanna share games… i bought the game in my primary switch (A), i will deregister, and my friend will register in the switch (B) with my account (A), he than downloads the game, and creates a save file on his first account (B) than proceeds to deregister, I log in again with my original account (A) in my switch (A) and name this the primary switch again.
Will my friend still have access to the game? Keeping in mind he has the game downloaded and he will enter with another account.
Will I get to start the game? Will we both get to play online together?

  5. We're probably getting our son his own Switch for Christmas this year, and I've been trying to figure out how to manage the few digital games I've purchased that he'll want to play. I haven't seen any article or any other video mention scenario #3, and I think that may be the best option for us to start with. (I also don't mind if he uses my Switch, the primary one, if he really wants to play one of those games). Thanks for the suggestion. This is definitely worth a sub to your channel! 🙂

  6. you forgot to mention: game sharing would only work if you are in close proximity to the primary user. but let say it's cross-border (eg. out-of-country, maybe someone's on vacation), the primary account MAY (not absolute) get banned specially if it was shared to more than 2 switch consoles.

  7. What if you are connected temporarily to the WIFI and then all of the sudden, you lost the internet. Will you be disconnected from the game let's say you don't have WIFI? It's like all shared games will be accessible ONLINE only. Thanks in advance!

  8. Nintendo must've updated and changed something. I just tried 3rd option and second console with user cannot play digital game that was downloaded from other console purchaser. Now the second console has a Nintendo account but does NOT have an online membership.

When attempting to play digital game through that second console and its own user it said to purchase game from eshop. But on that second console with created user of purchased game is able to play. Any suggestions? ?

  9. After listening to this a few times sounds like all 3 ways are essentially all the same with the variation of primary account holder login, and profiles, and how they are set up on certain switches? Yes no?
