Since the aiming in this game is originally done with a Nintendo DS stylus, aiming with the mouse is a little hard. I can’t say I’m the best Call of Duty DS player around, but I did manage to beat the campaign. This game has a lot of ties with the ‘real’ Black Ops game, but features an entirely new campaign. Enjoy!

In Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Nintendo DS, Activision’s seminal first-person combat game returns, this time tailored towards clandestine missions and top-secret tasks. The game offers a single-player storyline designed to offer another perspective on the events that occur in the console versions and elaboration on the former’s narrative gaps. Take on the role of a CIA-sponsored fighter as you covertly battle in a 16-mission campaign throughout Cuba, Vietnam, the Soviet Union, and other relevant Cold War locales. Offering over a dozen rare weapons and tools, Call of Duty: Black Ops ups the ante by including an option to man attack helicopters and fighter jets. The game offers several multiplayer options, such as a two-player co-op campaign and online six-player combat, in over six arenas. Black Ops for the DS also includes an amusing zombie mode with a single and multiplayer option.

Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Nintendo DS will feature six-player online multiplayer mode with a new Perks System, as well as a unique two-player Co-Op mode and Arcade and Challenge Modes that allow gamers to replay the single-player missions to earn extra points to unlock additional achievements.

  1. 2:27:04 Except there was never a proper follow up for this version of the game that got made for either the DS or 3DS (assuming it would have been Black Ops 2), therefore not only does this game leave us off on a cliffhanger, but it's a cliffhanger that will never be resolved since N-Space went out of Business in 2016. Not a lot of people really care much for CoD on DS anymore, and there really wouldn't be much of a point to create an entirely separate version of Call of Duty for a handheld system. Especially with advancements in mobile phone technology and hybrid systems like the Switch that are one to one with home systems.

Guess the "guy responsible for the whole nightmare" won't be coming out anytime soon.

  2. Didnt have a ps3. I made the jump from ps2 to ps4, but while i had ps2, my older sis got me this game for my DS. That was some of the best memories. Love you sis ❤

  3. I actually love all the ds call of duty games, with the exception of world at war as I haven’t played that one. But I actually just recently bought the modern warfare trilogy for the ds a couple days ago

  4. Loved this game but I so bad at it, and so young when I played it so after completing the first mission I didn’t know how to start the second one ????????

  5. Is it me, or has this game given off an uncanny feeling alot?

I remember first playing this when I was 11 I think. During the campaign, I always felt like there was something…off all the time. I dunno why.

Don't even get me started on the Zombies…
Was always too scared to play it. The low-quality zombie designs, the red eyes, the ambience, that fucking laugh at the beginning….

  6. I love this game so much when i was a kid, sometimes it took me an hour to understand a thing because i couldnt understand english too much back then.. haha i miss my childhood so much..????❤️‍????i wish i could turn back time
