  2. Doomblade was more frustrating than it was fun, but it was unique i'll give it that! Also the soundtrack just slaps on that one.
Haiku is literally Hollow knight but better. Yes i said it, no i won't take it back! It's a metroidvania gem that surpasses it's inspiration and is one of my personal favs!
Aeterna noctis is too anime for my liking, and the main character's idle animation drives me insane. It's also bloated with unpolished content and visuals are a mess!
Moonscars' visuals are a polar opposite of aeterna's, featuring utterly beautifull pixel art, some of the best i've ever seen. Music is equally great and game is fun.
Infernax is too retro for my liking, and the low fidelity pixel art lacks character.
Rusted moss' pixel art on the other hand looks great, i've yet to play this one but i love grappling so gonna pick this up despite hating twin stick shooters generally.
Records of lodos war looks like classic castlevania, which is also still have to play. Some day!
Islets is indeed delightfull, the developer kyle thompon has only made absolute bangers so far. Can't recommend this one enough and super hyped for crypt custodian!
Timespinner I didn't like at all, despite the praises it gets. The two time periods are cool though, hope to see them expanded on in timespinner 2
Sundered is a roguelike and its combat is a clusterfuck, but the visuals and eldritch theme are very cool
Vigil is a bit janky but one of the best 2D dark souls RPG style games together with salt and sanctuary. I liked it but didnt love it
Shadow complex gets rave reviews everywhere, i should really check it out tbh
Worldless is a super unique and fun game, it's not for everyone and it gets ridiculously hard at the end but worth checking out if you want a one of a time experience.
Afterimage is a MASSIVE game, it took me 46 hours to 100%… But i loved it!
Rain world… wawa scug wawa :3

Very good list! 9 games i played (and loved), 3 i'm gonna check out (rusted moss, records of lodos war and shadow complex) and 3 i'm skipping (aeterna, infernax and sundered)

  3. You should check out BioGun. Its in Early Access but you can beat the game. Theres just a couple side rooms that aren't accessible. I figured that wouldn't bother you since you had Ender Magnolia in your other video.

  4. The new Turbo Kid metroidvania is fantastic and barely anyone even knows about it. The combat is fun with a lot of unique weapons to attain and you even have a bike you ride everywhere (like the movie,) that you can do tricks with in the half pipe shaped environments. It's actually super fun. I'm surprised that almost no one is reviewing it or talking about it. It's the best i've played in a while.
